Implementation language choices

• In 2000, all my desktop applications and servers were written in C or C++
• So choose C as most web languages have interfaces to it
• Why not C++? In 2000 as now, interfaces to C++ are still hard or uncommon. Impossible for non-OO languages.
• Update: In 2004, all but 2 of my desktop apps are C/C++ (Eclipse, Muine)
