Aims & Objectives

1. Cope with Megabytes and Gigabytes of logs from access daemons.
2. Produce useful summaries / statistics from these logs such as:
   • What is popular?
   • Who is taking the files?
   • What problems are clients and users having?
   • ...
   
   (the kind of thing employers, sponsors and funders want to know!)
   
3. Do all of the above automatically.
