Ruby and RDF and Redland - Semitar

2004-08-17 18:15

I just discovered today that Lyle Johnson has been looking at RDF for Ruby. He's just mentioned a new one to me Semitar which is:

... an "almost pure" Ruby library for processing Semantic Web data in RDF and OWL. The "almost" qualification stems from the fact that it uses Redland's Raptor parser, instead of a pure Ruby RDF parser, in the interest of performance. Semitar is being developed by Rich Kilmer and Chad Fowler, two well-known contributors to the Ruby community.

He also covers the other Ruby and RDF work as he's been looking at such as Rena, Ruby RDF and rdf-redland.
