Edd Dumbill's been working with Redland for a while now in FOAFbot here are his latest thoughts on Living in Redland (Behind the Times), 2003-08-26. and especially on the major update to the Python API he made with Matt Biddulph, for Redland 0.9.13. It's gone all Pythonic with appropriate use of generators, iterators and tuples; now requiring python 2.2 or newer.
