The RDF.Net Challenge, Tim Bray. His history of RDF, RSS 1.0, analysis that problems=the syntax, proposes RPV, challenges to find him an exciting app he'd use.
RDF's syntax he says has problems. This is so darn obvious, I wrote a huge article about it: A retrospective on the development of the RDF/XML Revised Syntax. The latter part covers some of the problems with RPV. I'm sure I emailed him before outlining how RPV was incomplete for RDF.
Not quite anything public to announce yet either, but the W3C's HTML and RDF people are looking at things with respect to syntax.
