Written by Dave Beckett • Filed under Company

We are happy to say that the Digg App 2.0 is now available in the Apple App Store. An iPhone app has been one the most frequently requested products from Digg users and we're glad to be back with an improved version.

Digg IOS App for iPhone and iPod Touch

With the Digg App 2.0 on the iPhone or iPod Touch (running iOS 4.2 and newer) users can:

  • browse lists of recent news and discover the most popular and recently trending content across the web
  • Digg your favorites and share them with users on Digg and Facebook
  • preview any story in a list from a thumbnail of story description, date and Digg contributor
  • view full story content in an integrated browser

New features from the previous version include:

  • stability improvements
  • easier sharing via Digg or Facebook Single Sign-On
  • ability to Digg your favorite stories right from the story list
  • support for Digg Newswire

We also provide the mobile version of Digg at which you can use in Mobile Safari on IOS or in browsers on other mobile devices.

We are continuing development and have further improvements in interface and features that are planned. Coming soon: Newsrooms.
